Microsoft 365 Backup M365 Backup Partial Outage - Some backup runs could not start and were skipped or could take longer than usual

A partial outage with the M365 backup caused some backups not to start by schedule and be skipped or could take longer than usual and finish a few hours later or the next day. The incident was identified on September 29th, 2024 around 12:00 AM GMT and was fixed with priority at 12:00 PM GMT on October 1st, 2024 GMT.
